Congrats!! I will be a granpa next month to twins! 1boy 1 girl! And I know how you feel about your parents! My Mom passed last year and I talk to her everyday still, had the baby shower the other day and as my daughter wa opening the gifts I had my shirt sleeve pulled up, cause I have a portrait of my mom tattooed on my arm, and let her watch all!

Hell dude, I cry at certain movies, and there were tears of joy on my face when my grandkids were born and there were tears of sadness on my face when my parents died... My point being that anyone that says men don't cry doesn't really understand what being a man is all about. Being a man means that you work throught the pain and you just keep going, but it never meant that you couldn't get emotional about things. You just have to put things in their proper place.

Look at MJ for an example. He cried when his mom passed not long ago, but if you look at what he's gone through and what he's going through right now with his health and his wifes health.... hell, he''s more of a man that most people I know and more than I could ever hope to be. Same goes with Spare and all the problems he's had with his daughter Kendall. God alone knows how he kept going... I know I certainly couldn't have. And again, he's more man that I could hope to be. But my point is that you can be emotional about things and still be a hard a$$... that's really the secret of being a man. I think you're doing fine.... (And congrats on the second grandchild)

Thanks, I am truly blessed. My children have grown up and are successful in their chosen professions. MY parents were great people, when my Father passed away the flags in my home town were flown at half mast. Both were 82 years old when they moved on. Both had a long and successful life and their children and children's children respected a loved them dearly. My grandchildren are beautiful kids. I spent the day with my oldest grandchild, it was a perfect day.

When I look back at my life and all that had happened to me over the past 55 years, it has been a great ride. I thanks my kids, siblings, wife (who has put up with me for over 30 years) and my parents.

Thanks for the comments. My children are the best as I bet yours are as well. I will enjoy my new grandchild as much as I did my first grandchild. My daughter will not let me post pictures on the web but I will se if I can't sneak a few here and there as I did at the start of this post. Now on to boating let talk about boats, LOL. You guys are the best, you keep me grounded or at least my feet on the dock.
