Thanks a lot everyone!! Extremely happy with the boat and motor package. Still getting used to a couple things, like correct trim, and trim tab placement (hard left turning at speed, easy right) But I am very happy with the handling of this boat, and I'm happy to be here!

That hard steering left is just a function of the rotation of the prop. If you still have your original steering cable thats normal. If you upgrade your steering to at least no-feedback helm or of you got the dollars for hydraulic it will help with that alot.

RWilson.. I actually do have hydraulic steering. Also, I noticed one afternoon out that it became noticeably easier when I correctly adjusted my trim upon coming on plane, which is why I am led to believe that it is actually user error on my part with incorrect trimming and also possibly the trim tab needing to be adjusted a bit. Still getting used to the boat, but so far it's a blast!
