Default How is your center console windshield mounted?

I finally have the grab rail for my V and need to mount it and the windshield.
There needs to be some sort of rubber between the plexiglass and console but I don't know what it's supposed look like.

They are just 1/8"-3/16" thick rubber washers that you can get at the Depot or Lowes plumbing dept. Mine were all cracked and so that's what I replaced them with. get the thickest you can find so that when they compress you still have clearance between the windshield and the console.
