A fellow I know said, and I haven't verified it, that if they dumped a paper slip for each ticket sold for the current jackpot into a huge mound with the winning number on one of them and gave it to you that there was a pretty fair chance you would die of old age before you were able to find the winning ticket to turn in

To me, the amazing thing is that before the drawing they announced there was a fair chance of having a winner because over 80% of all possible winning ticket number combinations had been sold already. It's truly mind numbing what computers can do.
