Well Ferm, I thought I would update you, all went well I got Ice cold AC. I done just the front and used the plugs ordered online to plug off the back.

Glad you got it!! I have not been able to check my AC in the New to me Tahoe yet, its going to snow tonight! I also have rear AC??

Yeah Ferm and Phatty were right about not having to have the rear air. Even thought its not real hot here it yet it was about 80* this weekend and I ran it really low and it got really cold in the cabin.

They used to sell the SUBURBANS with only front air and they worked just fine. As cold as mine gets I couldn't imagine that much cooling in a smaller vehicle.

Guess I jinxed myself. I'm still trying to find the leak in mine, so I went to pull the rear HVAC out to check it out and the high side line is froze solid. just had it out 3 1/2 years ago and all was well then with no zigns of any problems, but now I have the high side line broke off and won't budge out of the stell nut.
