Now Im reconsidering, look at this rear AC block off plugs Ferm:
http://www.streetrodguys.com/compone...mart/Itemid,1/ http://autocoolingsolutions.com/prod...limination-New Wonder if I can find them cheaper? I can return the $100 rear evaporator, the $27 expansion valve, not order the $128 and $138 rear hoses, thats alot of fishing tackle money. ??? Not to mentions the extra labor.

Here's a thought...... what about flushing it out and adding in a filter on the return line?
years ago the compressor died in the folk's home a/c unit so when I installed the new compressor I put filters on both pressure and return line and they have had no issues... Can't see any reason the same theory couldn't apply to a mobile system too. |

Did the lines come loose, or strip off? I guess I'm lucky as I've yet to have a rear frozen, but the front lines at the condenser are ALWAYS frozen on.
