Word is there was never a real national attempt to ban stuff, they knew it wouldn't pass. It was intended to be planned to come through the states legislature.

Actually, I think what they are going to do next is try to approve the UN gun ban treaty. Since it's a treaty we'll be legally obliged to follow it. They get their gun ban without a Constitutional fight. The TRAITOR John Kerry has already voiced his approval and support of the treaty.
 (It's a sad comment on the state of our Country's leaders when we have a traitor as the Sec of State.... and with the approval of both sides of the congress)
