I need a new vehicle

Thanks guys!! Yes I use to have a 02 Truck and the fuel pump went twice in that one also, power window motors also.
The motor was the 4.8 and it is still going today, I will be looking for something in that range. Just needed to know what if anything was different in the SUV to look for other then trucks.

also mj. don't be surprised when you crank one cold, if you hear a "knock". i don't know if your 02 4.8 did it or not. the 5.3's do and it's normal. should go away in about 10-15 seconds.

Thanks daddy, I forgot about that, Yes it use to do it all the time and I was scared to death about it till I learned that they all did it. I use to use Lucas oil treatment every oil change that seemed to help that a lot!
