Default Thanks!

I agree on the miles not worrying me, we're keeping the avalanche as a backup vehicle for my wife, she needs it when the snow flies around here and her scion won't make it anywhere, plus even though the bed isn't all that big, we do get some use out of it as a pickup. Buddy of mine has about 420k on his, just replaced the motor cause it started to burn a quart between changes, so the reliability isn't an issue. Problem is, I get a car allowance for work, not enough to cover a car payment but enough for the company to expect that I have a newer model reliable vehicle, so I need to get something a little newer with a few less miles on it. My intent is to get something that will tow my boat and allow my avalanche to "retire" to just a passenger truck vehicle.

I just purchased a f150 with the 4.6L. It's my first truck and I love it. It's a crew cab XLT and seems to do all I ask of it so far. My boat is 4500lb and the truck pulls it no problem. We have or had 3ft of snow and the truck went through it like there was no snow.
