Then he wants to do a compression test on a cold motor as the hose is still frozen, comes up with 112 to 115 on all cyl and says that its not in Yamaha spec's. Says he has the same motor and its on another boat, its tighter and in better shape then mine and mine is getting old, said I miss represented the motor to him as it is older and loser then I said, all with out it ever running! I said its a tight motor, here is all the service records like I said I had, I said it was a 2002 so what did I lie about?? As far as a few starches and the worn paint on the latches it is perfect for a 0 year motor, then he said he drove 6 hours to get here to look at it and will I take $3000, I said nope I did not feel right selling him a junk motor and he should get the **** out of my yard and back to NJ before my son kicks his a$$!! Which my son wanted to do!@! he said dad I was being nice to him cause you wanted to sell the motor, but he was trying to get me to tell him a different price and saying all kinds of stuff.
I am disappointed cause I meed the cash!! But at the same time happy cause I don't want to sell it any way!! I have one guy that came to look at it for 30 seconds and said he was looking for a Honda, so why you here?? Also had a few offers from 3k to 3500 with out looking, but I am not letting it go for that cheap!

Ok I am done just needed to let off some steam after that guy!
was his name Aussie kidding im joking

Sounds like you represented the motor just fine. You cant expect perfection on a used motor with that many hours. Either he was insane or just looking to lowball you. In the end you won! He wasted a day on a long trip and didn't get a motor. Bad Karma is coming his way. The motor he does get will probably blow up the first time he runs it. Hang in there. Eventually you'll get it sold and for the right price.
