RB - definitely. One of the guys I fish with has taken us 5 times over the past 2 months. We even fished a tournament about 2 weeks ago. In all those times we have had one knock down that did not stick. We're slow trolling live bait on his 19' carolina skiff w/ electric trolling motor - 4 flat lilnes out the back (2 w/ splitshots) and 2 planers off each side for a total of 8 rods. Big fish in the tournament was a little over 11 lbs, released alive for an extra $100. I really want to outfit Blue Runner with i-pilot and all the fixins. A saltwater minkota would be sweet too for taking to the coast...hope I'm not just wishful thinking!?!? I'm trying to wrap up a big project at the house so it will have to wait until that is taken care of. If I ever get it done we'll go and I will be happy to show you what has been shown to me. Or anybody else that wants to go for that matter.....

Big tournament this weekend Blue. We decided not to fish. Way to many knuckle heads for us to deal with at our ramp. Plus not one fish was weighed in yesterday during the tournament. We don't know what's going on but a lot can happen in just days so we have our fingers crossed for this week.

Kracker
Keep me informed I'm planning to fish also but thought I'd wait until I heard they had showed up in the ocean.

I can go pretty much anyday, just have to take off work.
We can either go together or take both boats.

You are not far from me at all. I will let you know, we like going in the middle of the week. It filters out alot idiots!!!!! pm me your number if you dont mind. My brother works for the Virginia Pilot association so he works at cape henry in the tower bringing container ships in and out of the bay so he sees and hears all the action. He is also tight with some charter guys out of rudee so we get the whole report from both sides. they caught them pretty good about 2 1/2 weeks ago and we thought they were gonna break loose then but they faded out. you are welcome to fish with us anytime. Anyday its gonna turn up.its perfect scenario now, we just just dont want it to cold snap on us to bad or else they will turn the corner out of the bay and head south in a hurry and skip us!!!lol!!

Well I just got the phone call. We are fishing in the morning. A buddy of ours caught a 158 pound blue fin yesterday (look a Virginia beach fishing center pictures) his name is Blake. Hooks sharpened ,drags set and ready to roll!!!
