Kracker, do some research on the Simmons Sea Skiff, they have quite a following, plans are available from the Carterret County Tech School(Wilmington NC). It may be a little more challenging than Ben Garvey type, but the results are worth it as they are very sea worthy and don't take a lot of hp to push them

I cant believe I forgot the Simmons! I have been fishing on a replica 20 and a 1960's 17 the past two years with a friend. I like them and they ride decent.
