i have an 85 cuddy, i added 2 pvc saddle tanks under the rod boxes in the gunnells. i used 2 pieces of 3" pvc about 4 or 5 feet long. i tied them together in the stern and put a pump with a built in pressure switch there. this is a shot of the port side looking under the stern storage bin, the pvc tube coming up is the fill this is a shot of the pump woth the connecting tubing coming from both sides this is a shot of the starboard side the biggest drawback to the way i did it is the capacity. i only hold about 6 gallons, but it is great for a quick rinse and cleaning sunglasses. it would be nice to have 10 or 15 gallons. this is the pump and the t that both sides tie into. |

I have a regular white water tank 13 gallon installed under the liner, it has the same pump as Phat described with a shower nozzle attachment. Love it.

Thanks, Phat... exactly what I needed to see for motivation. I really like the PVC tubes instead of buying a tank.

before you save money buying pvc do a bit of shopping... If you have the space for the tank the cost isn't a killer... example: http://www.ebay.com/itm/16-GALLON-Fr...sories&vxp=mtr |

I REELY like Phat's solution to water storage...but lotta work for 6 gals...would a larger dia pipe fit?...and the hatch opening will determine what size tank you can get into that space...either way, freshwater washdown is ALWAYS a plus on saltwater...Ridge seems to agree!!...

Yeah, after seeing that link from Kevin, it definitely worth checking around before building anything outta pvc. Still a great idea though, and I won't rule it out yet.
