Just finding this thread again with your updated pic. That is one nice looking anchor man. Very nice to be exact. You ever make one with an eye up on the end for the "easy-out" zip tie setup, or do you find it works just as well as is? Love the garden hose idea also.
*****EDIT****** Never mind.... I see it now! DOH!

When I fisrt started fishing the wrecks with a friend years ago we had lost a couple of hooks & an anchor & my partner didn't seem upset at all. Strange, since he was a cheapskate! Then about the fourth time we went out, he grabbed a tank & mask & jumped in (70 feet). I was a bit concerned after he was down there 15 or so minutes & I lost his bubble trail. He came back up, said there were plenty of snapper & grouper down there & we kept fishing.
At the end of the day, I went forward to pull the anchor and DAMN! was that thing heavy, as I got to the chain I saw lines tied to it, the whole time my buddy is just snickering away. Had to tie it off & bring them up one at a time, he had gathered 3 wreck hooks & two anchors & tied them all to our rode!! I still have one of those anchors & that was 25 years ago!

You can hook the wrecks well with that. Will be diving north Jersey on a wreck known to have gold on it. The Auroa wreck.
