Looking good Kracker! I really like the rail. Good thing on the relief cuts without them its possible to pull the boat to fit the wood rather than vice versa, and that is not good. Dont forget you can always come work on mine. I cannot wait to see yours done.

Kracker, I just had an idea. How about extending your gunnel cap 3" past the outside of the hull with a 2" downward carling? Like the Carolina Skiff and the big Cape Horns. Should help with spray and give you more piling protection.

Drag, its been a long itchy road to get her to this point. And I still have a long way to go. But its gonna be a cool boat.

She is coming out great we had our first frost up here looks like 4 weeks of Indian summer in store for us up here in MI.

With the budget are you going to paint her or Gel coat her?
I am getting my Epoxy Primer today we will see how it goes.
