spare, only way to justify a boat purchase now would be if it stayed under a certain amount. worst case i'll just wait another few months and find a deal closer to next season. wife's against it but i cant go another summer without a boat. gotta work some more o/t and knock down some of these bills first. show her i mean business.

How about this strategy with the wife.........
1st - tell her you're giving serious consideration to buying a NEW boat - to avoid all the time and labor needed to restore an old boat. Let this sink in good for a while. Then - when you find the USED boat you want, tell her you decided it wouldn't be fair to spend all that money on a new boat, so you're going to buy a used one. She'll wind up thanking you for you're consideration, and praise your virtues. Happy wife / and end of story. |
