I just had my fuel tank cleaned and the gas filtered by a professional. He said that the only stuff that he's seen be effective is CRC phase 4. But I agree: If you can get non ethanol gas, pay the premium.

Oh and if you buy a new weedwacker and run ethanol in it, when winter comes around, go ahead and throw it in the trash.

We have no choice here but to buy it But i use the stable and it seems to make a huge difference, for me anyway. I try not to leave any gas in the snow blower or Lawn Mower in winter or summer. I bought a battery powered weedwacker to avoid the gas issues that everyone seems to have. I have been leaving my boat full come winter and so far (knock on wood) no issues and there is 110 gal in there!!

Look here---
http://pure-gas.org/

NJ has one station showing in jersey city.

You can look in all states and BC and if you find one---add it.

I'm VERY lucky, I have an independent small, local fuel supply company who also has a retail location about 2 miles from my house. They have non-ethanol for $3.99

Ditto. I hate to say it, but I've had no real problems with ethanol fuel. (other than the drop in MPG like everyone else). Maybe one reason is I don't leave any gas in my fuel tank for a really long time. At winter I drain my backpac blower, weed eater, lawnmowers, etc., then put a little light oil in the tank and pull it thru into the cylinder(s). Been doing it like that since my dad showed me how 50+ years ago. Smokes a little on startup, but it goes away in a minute or so. No corrosion in the bowl, cylinders, etc.

We got several 100% gas stations all over the state...I can think of 5 w/in 10 miles of here..I finally broke down and got some for my chainsaw after 2 rebuilds, but that's the only problem I've EVER had...the Honda did fine on ethanol...and bless his heart, Vic upgraded the fuel lines on the Merc...LOOKS cool too!!...Thanks, Buddy!!..
