As a former full time police officer and a current reservist with Bureau of Alcohol and Tobacco here in Florida, I recommend that EVERY law abiding citizen that can obtain a concealed firearms permit get one and carry 100% of the time. There are too many crazies out there these days and I would hate to be caught in a situation where I "could have" done something and couldn't because I didn't carry on that particular day. My wife carries 100% of the time as I do, with the exception of turning mine in at the guard gate daily because of the facility that I work at. God be with those that perished and their families in this time of tragedy.

Sucks for the victims and families especially the kids.
When i first heard of it the first thing i said was "One person with a .38 snubnose could have ended it before it started". I hope they hang the bastard and soon.

It seems that the times have changed so much we all need to carry protection everywhere we go. I remember the good ole days when all you needed was your two fist to solve most problems. Now people are afraid of getting their a$$ kicked, so they pack a gun.
Sad but true. When I used to deliver pizza I went to a bad area about 1:00 am and two 7 yr old black kids ran up to my car window firing cap guns and I just about sh.it myself. I have never been right since...
