Possibly overheating due to not enough oil getting to the engine?

Is this ame spot after an idle zone, or is it after a run at cruising speed? When was the impeller last changed? On that engine if the water pump doesn't put out enough pressure it will overheat at a slow steady cruise.

Ferm, the 10 mile run is cruising around 4k all the way. Once I cool it down I can run the rest of the day without it happening again. I even ran it wide open for a while on the way back in yesterday without a problem.

The impeller was changed last year, seems to be the same pressure exiting the engine. I will drop the foot to check it out when I get a chance, it only takes 15 minutes but it hot outside!

There was this same exact issue on some of the 3 cylinder ones just a couple of years after going to the VRO.
One correction (don't know if it was successful) was to replace the pee hole stuff from the block to exit. This included a kit of an increased size of a few fittings from the block to the outside, basically the screw in 90 to barb fitting, the hose and the outlet.
Don't ask me why this would work, only thing I can figure is an increase of water flow from the impeller.
