Utopia in the USA is not obtainable by taxing its people. Anyone voting to make the US government more powerful and larger is lazy and wreckless. The governance we have today is flirting with treason every time they add a dollar of additional debt. To ignore the CBO or Claim that there will be some sort of imaginary offsets to counter the cost of healthcare is ludicrous." The Canadians think the consrvative party in the US is crazy for sweating Nationalized Healthcare. They have had it for years. What is the taxation rate in Canada? How much of Canada's population is on Welfare? Paying taxes? What does their system and the European model look like? You know if you carry a turd in your pocket long enough you will eventually forget about the smell.

This is a prime example of what I've been railing about for years...it's obvious as hell Obama is in the pockets of the insurance industry...it was the 1st thing he did when he got into office....but you know what?...he's just playin' the system that we allow...every day we should be writing our congressmen, marching in the streets, whatever it takes to run the lobbyists and the companies they represent the hell outta our government...if yer blamin' Obama it's like blamin' the kid who's ALLOWED to raid the cookie jar...
The insurance industry, petroleum, banks, pharmaceuticals and other big money interests are runin' this country...not you and me...if you think Obama's the only one who's screwed you lately, lemme tell ya...it's the whole damn system and as long as we keep falling for party politics it will continue...

It took Pelosi and Reid to push it through. There is blame to go around. It barely got the votes after sweetening the deals with pork. At the time it was passed the surveys of the people revealed the people said NO. Then they introduce the tripe at 2:00 in the morning and voted it through without even reading it.
Obama was doing his part to rail it through. Meeting with Insurance Industry Giants behind closed doors like the meetings he had with the banks not to mention the strongarm tactics with opposing members in his own party, to sway the vote. It was definitely party politics. Transparancy? I think not. At least they finally hung the "T" word to what it really is. Another TAX.. Doesn't effect Congress, Doesn't have much effect on the mega rich, nor the poor, all of which have Gold Plan Health Insurance already. Working class will fund it. NO PROBLEM... "Socialism works great until you run out of other people's money"- To paraphrase Margaret Thatcher.
