Totally agree. Hell, the trailer is worth that by itself. Nice find. If the transom and the floor are solid you hit the jackpot. Looks like the repairs are going to be mostly cosmetic.. seats, etc. Looking forward to seeing this project come to fruition. Welcome to the site.

(And now a word from our safety guru): Please make sure you have all your proper safety equipment with you when you go far offshore... You can never have too much safety gear.

sounds like all your ducks are lining up. look up some fishing post from genie aye to see what a v on the west coast can do.
did that boat use to belong to Hunter S Thompson? just wonderin...

looks good and if thats were it has been parked it looks to be an arid enviroment so rot is less likley making restoration much esiar. my dad and i took a inflatable kayack out of half moon bay in the late 70's suprised a lot of people back then.

Thanks guys. I am going to go for it. I will keep you all updated and provide photos as things progress.

Now to work out the details.

phatdaddy - no it did not belong to hunter s johnson, although someone almost as eccentric!
