if you haven't done it in the past 5 or 6 years, replace the fuel line, even ethanol free fuel has additives in it that eats stuff up. Replace the primer bulb with one made by an engine manufacture(Merc, Yamaha, Bomb). If you've replace the filter on the engine, check and replace the little filter on top of the vapor separator tank, we call it the horse shoe filter, it makes a 180 degree turn, you can see it behind the intake runners, just on top of the VST,

Thanks man, hoses are 15months old and I should have mentioned engine has 300hrs on it. The filter you are refering to is that the #20? Or is there one before that?
