I used LED strip lighting for my V and it works sweet for night time striper fishing. Here is my old post with pictures.

Just out of curiosity, how to you feed power to these LED's? Is there any soldering involved or are they screw terminals?

Thanks for the ideas guys. The red LEDs sounds like the way to go. I'll get some pictures posted once I get them installed.
