Trim tabs on V boat - absolutely !!

Well I'm confused BGREENE, trim it up and skip it or trim it down and let the V20 eat???

Anyway, if I was to go and get new tabs installed and ready to go, what would it cost?

Not sure we understand each other......
If trying to squeeze out the maximum top speed - your tabs are up, and motor is trimmed up just to the point of losing grip. If the boat begins to porpoise ( bow going up and down) you'd trim the engine down just a touch.

Otherwise, the tabs just provide more adjustment to the ride - but primarily to keep the bow down in various degrees, so the most forward " cutting edge" of the hull cuts through the waves, keeping the boat from lifting up and pounding down through a chop.

Cost ? It's around $ 500 total as I recall for complete Bennett Trim Tab kit.
