The ironic thing is, is that nothing sticks to starboard so you will notice the holes they fill with epoxy are threaded to make a formed bond not a chemical bond. The only chemical bond is to the boats gelcoat. I have some starboard laying around and will probaly be doing this to my rig. cool Idea MJ

I agree with you Destroyer, But I have a ton of small scrap starboard here and always looking for a use for it!! I used it in the bildge for the new bilge pumps, this way i no drill into the hull, and i hate to put wood in there to rot. iknow nothing glues starboard, not well any way, but if you drill hols in it and then thread it like they did you should be fine.
hey it a new use for all them scraps i have!
