If the shift shaft has never been changed yet than it is probably on its way out. to be honest I'm suprised it lasted this long. Must be all that brackish water in Kettle Creek.

Man, that brings back memories.. I've crossed that bridge over to Pelican Island more times than I care to think about. Used to go surf fishing @ Island Beach State Park almost every night when I was living in Toms River. Thanks for the memories.
