I am sorry for you MJ. Like you said, it was a good thing she went peacefully and now her pain is gone. Glad you got to read that card you made.

Is there going to be a wake?

MJ, really sorry to hear the news about your mom. Take comfort that you were a great son to her and you stayed by her side and did what you could to make her comfortable. Shes in a better place now and not suffering anymore. Praying for you and your family!!

No wake, she stated that if they could not come see her alive, then don't borther when she was dead!! Thats the way she was, and for better or worse i think the same way! I have a small set of close friends (besids you guys!!) and thats the way i like it, if you have no time for me, i have none for you. That said each and everyone of them are very close and mean the world to me! I love them all!

I always thought the wake was just as much if not more for the living to help with the healing and acceptance. But you are respecting her wishes which is best. We would have stopped by if there was one.

If you are like me, it will take awhile to really believe that she is gone.
