CB I think it is an optical illusion. I suspect there is a person kneeling down in the back of the boat on the port side, I think I see something there in the picture, motor is running . Also, looks like the guy painted the hullside darn close to the hard chine vs the placement of the bootstripe on a lot of V's where it is 3" up from the hard chine.
He introduced a lot of wood in the console and such. To each his own, I agree with you there, maintenance on that would be time consuming I would think. I think we saw this boat for sale a while back but it wasn't 100% complete as this one seems to be and the price was much taller. Still a beauty.

I also took for granted there is somebody in the back, you can kinda see him....
I love that console. A lot of custom Carolina boats have the consoles done like that. If I was handy with wood, I would build that in a second, Im not scared of a little sanding and varnish during the winter!! Im iffy on the bottom color...looks like a bronze or something, other than that she's my dream V

Well, when I had my '87 V20 center console, I could have myself and MJ standing in the back and not squat that much. And that was with dual batteries back there as well.
Whatever. It just looks off to me. I ain't buying anyways, so my opinion means jack sh!t.
