I would LOVE to do that!!! But we already have a busy summer planned.

Thanks for the open invite, Builder!!...what a great idea!!...have you DONE that?...Like Ridge, if there was a way to guarantee weather, I'd like to take a shot at that...DREAM TRIP!!...

Yes, I have done it many times over the years both in winter with 10' to 12' seas in a 43' Viking Convertible with waves crashing over the flybridge, in a 36' Luhrs and in a 29' Stamas Liberty in summer with flat seas, but never in the V. As to the weather, there's no guaranty but we do know that mid june has many spectacular days for crossing, however hurricane season in the Atlantic ocean is officially from June 1st to November 30th.
Bad weather, we go to Plan B; to go down to Key West, half the trip on the protected waters of the intercoastal waterway, the rest on the Atlantic.

I'm thinking plan B is in store again this year. Gotta get some more bugs during the mini. Parents loved it too, how many more trips they have in them is a mystery. Gotta take advantage of every opportunity.
