I'm no help answering you questions, but if I ever end up with a center console boat, it will have a "dodger" on it.

The cool thing about my boat is that I kept some of the original foot well from when it was a cuddy cabin. So putting a dodger on the the front would be a perfect sitting/storage area for my daughter or who ever is aboard.

Sorry I can't help with dimensions, but here's pics of mine. Unfortunately the boat is long gone.
http://www.wellcraftv20.com/gallery/album02 Mine was a factory option. It came with the Bimini, dodger, and camper sides/enclosures. When everything was installed, the boat was totally enclosed. Most dodgers are custom made by canvas shops though. I think you'll have to get it custom made.

I have a reaaly good friend in the marine apolstry buisness and tops. I just thought there were some pre-made options, But the more I think about it all boats are different so you cant just make a universal dodger. I still have my old bow rail off the V so I might buy some fittings and bend my own aluminuim and make my own frame and have my buddy at PETTY marine do the cover.
