I was starting to sweat the idle on that old girl. Flywheel cover helps tremendously on link-n-sink, otherwise your kinda guessing at the timing.. Glad it got sorted out. Not real bad on fuel either. Thanks Capt. Pete.

Thats a good running motor Vic. Suprised the heck out of me when I pulled the cowling off. A mut motor kinda like mine, love it.

Yep....like the day your motor was spinnin' outta control...ain't you glad you knew Spareparts??......which brings up the real added bonus to this forum...we all know peeps thru WellcraftV20.com we would have never known w/out it...the common shared V20 experience is great stuff...but the friendships that have sprung up are priceless...

Pete, some of the best dogs I've had were mutts...and Vic's right...I don't have any fuel numbers, but from what I can tell, this mutt's no hog...

Ridge, I think Pete will agree...even he couldn't have dialed it in that close if you hadn't taken the initiative to ship the timing light and manual up here...onece again, THANKS Old Buddy...

And Spare, fret not...we put the timing cover on long enough to do the deal...the smiley face is still smilin'!!...

Stating the obvious, thats all. Being up front is the best policy.

No bad juju on that one. Besides

Frankenmotors never seem to blow. Those parts and pieces have already survived the test of time. Just a bugger if you need to order parts. Is it a '87 or a '97
