Was 53.4 on GPS--before install of the full top and radar arch--cost me some speed--run around 49+ loaded for fishing with top up.
As far as weight--no issue--but a 2.6 versus my 3.3litre would be a little lighter and handles the 3.3 fine and handles great compared to the ole 175 johnson and the 225 yamaha that I had on it previously.

That is a monster Yellow Eye!! Nice Ling-on that has to be my fav fish to catch. We get one of them big boy's every year like that. I sure wouldn't want to swim with that aggressive fish got a mouth big enough to lose your head.
Nice catch Capt.

Bummer is we had to throw the yellow eye back--We are not allowed to keep them--even though they are dead when you bring them up from 600'.
I put in ALOT of Ling every year. I use to get bigger ones diving for them--once a year only because they are our breeders. I like them about the size there--but here is a picture of one we got a couple years ago off the coast--broke Ed's brand new halibut pole--look carefully---49".
