Our Alby rides on the trailer with very very narrow rollers and shes "ONLY" 7200 lbs. dry weight LOL!!!! it rides fine. I dont think you would have an issue.

My V21 is on a roller trailer - and it looks like the rollers on mine are inside of where your's are........ so I believe you'll be much better off moving em' in some !

My Dad had one of those Cox roller trailers when I was a kid...it was a real pain in the BEE-HIND!
Luckily between the two of us we could just shove up and over on the boat to jump the rib over the roller. I vowed then to never own a roller trailer.

yep adjust em in.... also consider adding a cross member near the front with a self centering keel roller... I did that on an EZ loader I was using to haul a 26' carver flybridge and it completely solved the very same problem... I assume that your "wz loader"
would work the same. :D Last edited by smokeonthewater; 01-23-2012 at 11:42 PM. |

Here was my remedy for the exact same issue---with my Cox--I did the same thing--I adjusted the rollers everywhere--this is how I handled it--and it works--I power the boat on after sinking the trailer a bit over half way and it centers every time. First I mounted the boards and covered off of rough measurements and then loaded the boat and then had to jack up the boat and move the boards a hair to get everything where they needed to b and the boards bow just right to support the boat fully
, and walah--perfect and would never go back.

I like Genie's conversion...it may truly not be for everybody...but if I woke up w/a roller trailer in the driveway tomorrow, I'd have to give that whirl...

Man, what happened to the simple design of keel rollers and bunks. It's been my staple for most boats.
