Ok,.so now I am.going to show my ignorance. What is starboard? I was thinking of making them out of teak. And routing a channel to make it fit

starboard is kinda like a dense pvc board. can buy it in different sizes and cut route sand whatever you need to it. there is also a type of less dense pvc board thats more flexable, and costs less, but isnt as strong.

thanks everyone. sounds like a good product and a lot easier than trying to build them out of teak. Here are a couple of pics. Hope they show up, virgin posting. Needs some work, but we're getting there.
