because a danforth anchor has a 50% chance of laying on top of the cable.... would probably still work but not the best setup

Think this is a simpler solution. My neighbor has his rigged like this and it has got him out of a jam a couple of times.

eh might influence it... lets guess 40% chance then..... there is also the issue of the cable getting hooked on a fluke and keeping it from digging in tho
