X3 Thank you, nothing, I repeat nothing gives the federal government the authority to force anyone to purchase anything. Nothing.
As a matter of fact the Constitution specifically prohibits the federal government from assuming such power. I understand the medical problems many face and would love to see some major changes to our system, Ferm lays out some and there are others from some very smart people that we should be implementing. But Obamacare is not about helping anyone, no one. Obamacare is a power grab by the federal government, once it is implemented it will set a precedent for further anti-constitutional power grabs. It must be defeated. For our generation to allow this expansion against our Constitution on our watch to happen will be remembered for generations as the period when Americans let the future generations down and changed our society from a individual liberty, Constitution based society to another failed socialist experiment. Our children will pay for our failure. Not on my watch.

America DESPERATELY needs healthcare reform, even moreso now that obamacare has been brought about. Like stated above, it has virtually nothing to do with improving healthcare but to take power and line the pockets of a few with good lobbysists and dirt on those who make the laws. I believe everybody should have healthcare, not because it is mandated and wrote into law but because it is a safety net that people can AFFORD.
I keep hoping I'll wake up one day and Ashton Kutcher will be on TV and say that we were all just on the biggest episode of PUNKED and o was just a sick joke, but I know this will not happen. Most people can't understand why I despise him so much since I'm about as broke as you can get right now with no work, disabled, and am 1/3 indian. They all say I should be down and signed up for my gubment check as it is owed to me because of who my ancesters were, but I DON'T feel that way at all. I may be broke, but it is what it is and I'll work through it one way or another. I may be disabled, but I normally find a way to get the job done. And just because I'm part indian, I don't feel I am owed anything for that either. I was on disability for awhile when I was in wheelchair, but I went off of it once I got to where I could walk and get around on my own again. It's been a tough road, but to many people don't want to travel the rough roads to get to the end anymore I think.
