I'm not too sure about the tower. It is cool, but I wonder how much the boat would rock with someone up there. I am curious as to why the guy went with a 140. I would think that 150 would be the minimum given it has all that drag from the tower up top. I would think it would sell closer to 10k in today's market. I don't think the zuke is helping him any despite it being a descent motor.

This is BenFishin's rig. I looked it up. He did an excellent job on it as I recall. http://wellcraftv20.com/community/sh...ight=BenFishin

Sweet pix. I like that last one taken from the tower with the bow painted "cobia blood red" . . . . . .one of my favorite colors.

He said it right......USED to be a V.....That thing is one sweet little custom now. I love the transom and there wouldn't be a Tripletail left out there if I had that tower setup!!!!!!

Cause its the best motor EVER!

That is one sweet boat...I believe it is a testament to if you redo an old boat, you are best off keeping it cause you will never get back out what you have in it...even at $18k I'm sure he is taking a bath on it.

y'know, looking at what the guy did to the boat, 18 grand suddenly doesnt seem that steep anymore. it's basically a brand new boat.
but how does he access the fishbox under the platform in the bow? did i miss the hatch?

One thing I've come to realize is, many times, you can't USE a lot of extra power on saltwater...lakes are usually (not always) suitable for running as fast as you wanna...bass boats are a good example...but the salty stuff many times is anywhere from chopped up to standin' up and the extra power stays on the shelf...today, I'm talkin' to Willy and he says it's the 1st time he's had opportunity in 3 mos to really open up his new Etec(sounded sweet BTW)...on the other hand, if you want the extra ponies, that's cool too!!...nice to have when ya can...
