Looks like a fun way to spend time with your Dad.
Everytime I mention to my wife that it might be fun to get my pilots license, she doent even acknowlegde that I spoke the words.

ya know, that whole better to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission thing, you can come back with that "well, you didn't say I couldn't take flying lessons?". Let us all know how that works out for you, BTW, have fun sleeping in the V

Like Destroyer, I've had my fill of commercial flying...hope I never have to answer that cattle-call again...
But these planes are REEL FLYIN' to me!!...several years ago, I had the opportunity to do some aerobatics in a Pitts w/a pilot who knew how to handle one...he liked to fly upside-down, A LOT!!...hammerheads, barrel-Rolls...stalls, drops the whole deal...an afternoon I'll never forget...would I do it again today??...inna HEARTBEAT!!...
