The leading edge that curves down towards the forward rub rail reminds me of a Fountain. Too nice of a hull to cut down into a CC in my opinion, find an old junky one laying out in the weeds and give her a new life.

Thanks for the comments, I'm really looking for a nice hull I can open up and use for some commercial purpose, space would be a must. Gonna try to use it for Hollywood production crews filming on the water need lots of room for crap. My original thought was to find a basket case 248 and use it, but this is kind of falling in my lap.....

Well yeah...if you've got a specific money makin purpose and that hull w/mods fills the bill, then go for it... Have you considered chartering for boat footage?...there are a couple of real nice 33' catamarans down your neck of the woods w/PLENTY of room and a very steady ride for shooting footage...for 8 grand plus what you'll put into the mods, you could buy a LOTTA time on the water and leave the driving to another...and STILL be a tax deduction...

That would be nice but I am looking to be the guy getting paid to drive the boat! If you're talking about the Freemans yeah they are sweet couple of my buddies run them as charters.

Not surprised you knew who I was talking about...a friend of mine makes those boats down in Charleston... Did I hear one of them hit an oil pipe recently and sank?... Modifying the boat you show above will certainly get the job done, but I still gotta believe there is an existing CC (apparently you need an open bow) already sitting somewhere down there that'll fit your requirements...

Yeah, word is he was running in a storm hit a cut off rig. It sits well above the water line but visability was bad, couple people got hurt and the boat was toast. Looney Tuna was the boat name and it was sparkling new. I've fished the Freeman hulls on two differant occasions, they are REALLY nice!
