Bought my first V - '73 cuddy - with twin 140 Johnsons hanging on a shoddy transom repair. Motors weren't rigged and the boat was never launched with the twins. I suspect it would've sank as it slipped off the trailer.
![]() Took motors off, had the transom repaired "right", rebuilt trailer and repowered with just one of the 140's on a jackplate. Ended up selling boat/motors separately and buying my V21. ![]()

that twin set up looks awesome. those engine were not that heavy probably the same weight as a big v-6 with a bracket.

How about 12 electric motors hung on the back - all rigged to one " throttle "
I bet a V would hit............... 5 mph that way. |
