Wow! How do those slipper lobsters cook up? I haven't had the pleasure yet. My dad used to call sheephead "poor man's lobster meat". You got both in one dive. Awesome!

I'm told the slippers are just as good. I saved a few and only cooked the spiny, which fed three plus leftovers. I'll report on the slippers after eating em. Hope to get a few more tomorrow.

Default Spiny vs Slipper

It's official... the slipper lobster is just as good. It seemed a little tougher, but mostly near the back of the tail. But the meat may have been a little sweeter. Definitely tastes like lobster!
