Default welded into the botRe: Wouldn't it be great!!!!!!

Clam Boil is right up my ally!!

Every July I do a huge one!! I took a beer keg and cut the top off and made one huge pot!!

I can put and do!! 50 # (1 bushel ) Clams, 10 to 15 pounds potato, 5 pound Onion, 5 + pounds sausage, 5 + pounds Linguica, 3 +pounds Hot Dogs.

This pots is about 90 pounds when full!! I put it on the turkey burner and off we go!! I even had a spicket welded on the side to let all the clam juice to drain out!!

When done I save the juice and freeze it, then in winter I use it for stock for my chowder!!

You souther guys may have us beat with more months to fish, but you can't hold a candle to are shell fish!! :P

And don't even start with them ****y little blue crabs!!

Us southerners have low country boils, Big pot throw in some hot sausage, potatos, corn on the cob, shrimp, crabs, crawfish boil it up drain the water dump it out on a large picnic table and go at it. But i sure would like the clam boil sounds good. I would be up to a get together this summer in NC just say when. The little Lady and I will be there. Hey you bring clam boil i will do the low country boil.

I'm with y'all! We've got the best shrimp and oysters right here in these waters, IMHO. Sounds like the crabs and clams are covered -- all we need are some lobstahs and it's a done deal!

It would be tough to get us all together, what with real jobs and other commitments, but I'm with you, Franco. It might just be a pipe dream (heh heh) but sometimes those things come true!

Me and a friend or two are going to be down at Myrtle Beach, actually Murrell's Inlet is where we'll be fishing out of... on the 6,7, and 8th of May. Should be killer Spanish Mackeral, bluefish, flounder, spadefish, king mackeral, I could go on ya know? Things should be bustin loose down there "reel" soon. I'll remind you guys later. I sure hope I can get my boat in rehab to get this crack problem behind me (pun intended). As alway, any of you boys that want to come and join us, well, I say the more the merrier! And if you don't make this one, they'll be more! Water temps are approaching 60 degrees right now! Its going to happen folks!

I ordered System 3 epoxy and some Quick Fair today. In 2 weeks the boat should be fixed (fingers are firmly crossed).

Later guys,
Blue
