kinda hard to see, but I made this dash with black plexi, I cut out all th holes and made the screw holes before I peeled the paper off. Then i sanded the edges smooth, ran across the edges with a propane torch(it work real good) to give it that finished look. I painted teh back side with black paint to make it look better

Here is a '74 redo I did w/1/2" Starboard back in 1999

And a '95 V21 of 1/4" Starboard from last year...

If you are handy at all w/tools, it's not that daunting a task, but if you are looking for a super sharp factory quality dash panel, there is a contact in our Links section for one that can do it for you...

When I got a new motor with a single gauge, I removed the old cracked plastic dash and threw it away. Replaced with black 1/2" starboard. Replaced all switches with a new switch panel.

If you can use a saw, a router, and a drill, or know someone who can, its a snap.

Measure three times, think about it again, measure again, cut once....

...realize it don't fit...buy new material, doubling the cost...measure another 3 times...then one more time...cut half way, stop, measure again...realize the flange will just cover the over-cut...keep cuttin and make up something to CYA when you post yer sh!t on the board...

That's how I do it, anyway...
