I used Starboard on mine and I think it came out fine. Would of loved to have it angled up a tad more though.....

this is one made from ipe, similar to teak. vic,fellow member, made for me.

kinda hard to see, but I made this dash with black plexi, I cut out all th holes and made the screw holes before I peeled the paper off. Then i sanded the edges smooth, ran across the edges with a propane torch(it work real good) to give it that finished look. I painted teh back side with black paint to make it look better

When I got a new motor with a single gauge, I removed the old cracked plastic dash and threw it away. Replaced with black 1/2" starboard. Replaced all switches with a new switch panel.
If you can use a saw, a router, and a drill, or know someone who can, its a snap. Measure three times, think about it again, measure again, cut once....
