nice job bgreene!! lovin that looper too. one thing you may want to check, your garmin unit is mounted kind of closely to the compass. if the unit or the wiring is to close, it throws the compass off big time. i had the virtually the same setup in my v when i bought it and ended up having to move things away from the compass. it wouldnt be a problem a guess if you didnt use the compass to navigate but i have heading to and from certain places remembered in my head from over the years and although the compass may not be my primary source of navigation i do still use it. congratulations on patience and persistence paying off. time to get some blood on them pretty decks.

Didn't check on the compass, thanks for the heads up.

I still use a compass too - when at sea on a dark or misty day, it's a nice reminder - which way back to land !
