Hit Willy's house at 3:00 pm....bait store down near the water a little after 4:00 ...in the boat gassed up and out around the hook by maybe 5 or 5:30. . Immediately headed down the beach just south of the Highlands Bridge and found moderate sized schools of bunker....7 or so casts by Willy with a weighted treble hook and 7 or so bunker in the boat for bait.....things are looking good..... Well appeared to be no marks at all under the bunker so according to reports headed out into deep water to look for fish....nothin' doin'. Only had a couple of hours of real fishing and just couldnt find them. Switched over to fluke for 1/2 and hour or so on the way back in and did manage to catch one short. You know that old thing about a bad day of fishing being better than alot of other things....

Guys it DOES sound like a fun trip!!...but ya'll need a REEL striper fisherman to go w/ya some time!!...LOL!!
I'll see if I can locate one for you...
