I've done the fish bites thing, they are good, but us "Yankees" like a little variety in what we eat. Frying is not the answer to every kitchen question.

If you can't hump it fry it, that pretty much sums it up. We fry anything down here in the south, but I will agree that sometimes it's nice to have a change. Then we smoke or grilll it when we don't have access to any oil.
