PhatDaddy
I have been thinking about a similar setup in my boat this year do you have any photos of the hoses going into the tank its self..Im not sure how to run them into the tank... Also, how is the water discharged from the tank when not in use...ie...is thier another pump required... Thanks |

Or you can go the "hoseless" route like mine...one fill up and you're done for the day...aerate, filter and circulate the same water all day...all it needs is a 12 volt source w/no hoses, no thru-hulls...I chose to make mine, but these tanks are sold all over, so it's not just something I came up with...disconnect one small 12 vt plug and sit out of the boat when not needed..

Also if this is a factory livewell keep in mind some of these drained to the bildge and then teh bildge pump pumped the water out. I've seen a few V's that have sunk because there bildge pump quit and they left the seacock for the livewell open.
