Hey Fish, I'm probably not the best person to answer your question but, exactly how big of an area seems weak? Would the attachment points (4 corners) on a flip/flop cooler seat extend out into "good" floor?

Sounds like you have the right attitude about your health issue. Keep it up.

i have these, i upgraded to some lumber had. you are welcome to them for shipping. but if you have a weak deck, they would be hard to mount and you would need the pedistal assy. probably cheaper to go the cooler route.

Go to page 2 of this thread to see what I did. It worked out great. Still cost a good bit though, considering resin, acetone, paint, etc. Good luck.
