That 225, if older 2-stroke should work fine on a V20...they might be a little harder to find on west coast as seems most were sold on east coast...

Its a johnson ocean runner.
What years were considered to be the best of the v20's, I think the main difference was transom and higher self bailing floors? tia

Around 85-86 is when most of the changes were finalized on the V-20, and then in 93 the V-21 came out.
